Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! And if you celebrate anything else, I hope it is wonderful as well. :)

I've prepped everything I can for dinner tomorrow and all of the gifts are wrapped. I'm waiting for my parents to get home from work today so we can Skype with them and watch them open their gifts from us. I think we're going to open one gift tonight, but we usually save everything else for the morning.

Anywho, Merry Christmas. How are you guys celebrating this year? I would love to hear.

Camp Le-zune or Le-zern.

Apparently, there's a debate on the pronunciation of the "Lejeune" of Camp Lejeune. Who knew? I didn't, but now I do.

So, I'm here in the good old Jacksonville area. I'm just visiting, unfortunately, but it could become permanent next year, we'll find out after The Husband graduates from the final phase of school. He finished the second phase yesterday, so he's well on his way!

I finished the fall semester last week without a hitch. Well, I think. I'm still waiting on one more grade to post, but so far I have a 3.68 GPA for the semester. I am registered for my final semester as an undergrad and I will be ordering announcements soon. I'll pick up my cap and gown as soon as the tassels with the correct year comes out.

Oh, by the way, Tricare got back to me on my claim. They denied it telling me that "I saw the doctor without a referral and therefore it was a point of service appointment" so I have to pay the deductible. No kidding, Tricare, I know I didn't have a referral. My point was that I didn't know that I didn't have the referral until two appointments later. Whatever, I sent off the second check to pay my share and got a renewal on my referral last week before I left for North Carolina since it seems the claims department has reading comprehension issues...

The Husband and I put up our very first Christmas tree on Monday. We've been married for 4 years and this is our first tree! For the Christmases we've been together for, we've been at his mom's or at my parents' house. This year, it's just us, and I'm really excited. Hopefully Christmas dinner doesn't include a helping of salmonella... wish me luck! Pin It Now!
